How about a water pipeline from the Ogallala Aquifer to California?

California would make Kansas look like the Owens Valley, if you gave us the chance.

On a technical level though, you wouldn't actually need a pipe to California. Just to the Colorado river system.

Bad enough the people using it are pumping it dry to grow corn, you want to start piping it west?

You guys in California have a whole ocean next door. Why not figure out a way to utilize it?
