"That is eleven votes out of millions. And now the Repubs, who recently controlled the entire state, have lost 2/3 of it. Eleven votes. That made the difference.

F*** yeah, your vote matters. And anyone who says otherwise is an idiot who can’t do first-grade math. "

I know some would say they are voting their conscience, but seriously, it is the difference between:
-Someone who doesn't know they are working against you quite a bit of the time.
-Someone actively working against you.

I mean, granted, now and then it is hard to tell the difference, which is why someone like me makes a tally at times.

Full disclosure, it has gotten much easier lately since this Independent has found it rare to find Republican Politicians who have not jumped the crazy cliff.

9 votes gave the Repubs total control of the state.

Ohio Dems seem unwilling to change their efforts in response.

I've seen votes that determined some very important things on even less votes. If someone is operating on the belief nothing they do will make a difference, they have accepted the status quo, no matter how bad it is.

And then they whine about it, which doesn't change anything, so they are content, overall. I used to think it rude when people said 'If you don't vote, don't complain later.'

I found out the ones who didn't vote or told others not to vote, loved whining more than change, or were afraid of the change and the work demanded.

Pointless talking to them, as the one thing they refuse to change is their own selves, which is a dead end.

JMHO.

I was wondering about this race because of where I read the votes hadn't been counted yet and I didn't know how red or Blue it would be!

Thank you! Yes, every Vote Does Count.. and to those who say "why even vote?".. I say.. "It could be life or death.. everything is political now, baby."

Had a few less individual Dem voters not chosen to vote, Virginia would be fucked.

Individual choices always matter. Without them, there are no totals to add up.

As a precinct clerk, it does my heart good to see citizens coming in to vote. The last time I worked I was happy to see the number of you g to middle age women voting, I hate to profile but I thought "Here are some blue voters". It was a low level election but good to see those voting. We need a big grassroots turnout for 2014, our votes does count.
