But really, we usually get a snow of 2-4" every couple of years.

Usually not this cold, though, and will melt within a few hours. If it snows tonight...
and looks like it will...it should stick through tomorrow.

only trace reflectivity in the SE of the county, with mostly a big donut hole around me: no reflectivity and nothing falling here. The loop's about 15 minutes behind real time

I was outside around noon, and the air was very odd: it was alternately little cold gusts with that icy smell that often means snow and then much warmer gusts that felt dry

A lot of it's coming down but you need binoculars to see the flakes. Haven't had much accumulation yet but they're calling for 2-3 inches.

I get a giggle everytime the "ZOMG!!!!! Snowpocalypse!!!!11!!!ONE" newscasts begin...

That said, my car is now officially covered in snow, up here in the University area. If this keeps up, tomorrow, I'll be able to take my ritual post-snowfall drive around the deserted streets in search of the perfect parking lot.

All covered with snow, we have lots of motels, with heaters and all.

2 inches here and prob 6 way high. Should stay til Sunday.

Last week's snow melted yesterday. May get down to 10 tonight.

Come up to the Smokys, yall.
