Is there an income gap situation where a person can be earning too much to qualify for Medicaid, but not enough to qualifiy for the Obamacare subsidy?
The person making this claim lives in California.

(27,315 posts)There are also states where assets are taken into account for Medicaid. In this case, the person may not be qualified for Medicaid, but its income may be less than 133% of Poverty line and would be too low for subsidies. I think it may be the case for CA, but somebody from there may confirm.
