10.10 minimum wage

10.10 seems to be the latest minimum wage figure that we've put out for consideration.

I think we should allow a sub-minimum of $9-$10 for students a) under 18 who b) work less than 20 hours per week and c) are not working in hazardous employments (including - but not limited to- mining, slaughterhouse work, contracting, and driving). In exchange, I think these underage workers should be exempt from paying income tax and unemployment.
