From when Pete got out of the HUAC committee. Toshi is pissed!
What a pair they were. I will miss them, and take every thing that I have learned from the two of them and use it in my life's work. We have their job to carry out. It's our life's work now.

Especially the last one, however, it is up to all of us to take a small part of all that we have learned from Pete, and put it to use in our own little part of the planet. Perhaps if enough people do it, something big can get done.
This is how Pete would have done it, I'll do it, standing on this giant's shoulders!

And left an indelible mark on the world. He was genuine...his purpose (often stated, sometimes not) was for something larger than himself. He was one of the good ones, that inspired hope for humanity in a cesspool of inhumanity.

RIP Maestro...your like may never be seen again.

I had the unfortunate luck of hearing some guy sing about what's his face, the previous Hammer in Senate from Texas...
Tom Delay, them honoring him, calling him the Hammer of Justice, hammer of freedom and other stuff like that.

It was disgusting.

We need a whole generation of them. I think Edward Snowden would qualify, and I sure hope there are more in his age group that really care about this nation.

I'm talking about a musician/songwriter. Music is a powerful force.
