It was freaking unbelievable. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

While I think she probably resonated with some people, it's a very, very thin slice of the electorate, imo.

I agree, she probably did resonate with some people, for example, those who wish it was the 1950's again with the Pollyanna (oh I am just a rural farm girl) approach.

I have never heard of Rep. Rodgers before yesterday, but she sounded exactly like Sarah Palin, both in tone and content.
