If THAT which I just witnessed in the harassment of Mayor Kasim Reed was not the worst piece of "anger journalism" ala Fox News, I do not know the meaning of harassment. You would think the storm started and stopped at the Atlanta city limits.
Meanwhile Governor Nathan Reed gets nary a mention or blame for the chaos OUTSIDE of Atlanta?
Apparently CNN morning anchor Ms. Costello, she of the perpetually worried and angry voice, was late to work in her downtown Atlanta studio and she of course she is blaming Atlanta Mayor Reed, courteous enough to take the time to go to the CNN studio, for her overwhelming personal tragedy...... being ICE and COLD in winter! On HER morning road commute! The horror!
CNN has become a parody of its former self. With plunging ratings to boot.
Where is a toilet emergency on the high seas when you need one, Zucker might ask.

(7,769 posts)I saw Mayor Reed be interviewed in person by Costello in the CNN Atlanta studio. Waiting for the Governor to do the same.
The mayor said that he had no control over school system decisions to open on Tuesday nor private businesses sending folks home at the same time as his government offices closed.

(15,237 posts)The worst part is CNN knows and chooses under the guise of journalism what they do; whereas FOX is led by a rabid dictator at the top who makes no real pretense of journalism other the the "fair and balanced" slogan which only fools the delusional.
