Oregon Woman Claims Olive Garden Lunch Forced Her To Have C-Section

An Oregon woman is suing an Olive Garden restaurant because she got sick after eating there and had to have a Caesarian section instead of natural childbirth.

Miranda Fischer, who was pregnant with her second child at the time, ate lunch there with her husband and 11 other relatives in January of last year, reports The Oregonian.

Within 36 hours of that lunch, 6 of the 13 diners, including Fisher and her husband, were sickened by a norovirus infection, according to the lawsuit.

Fischer suffered from nausea, diarrhea and dehydration while in the hospital to give birth, says her attorney, Thomas Patton.

Seriously though, norovirus is a nasty bug. I don't think even the almighty Olive Garden can do much about it. Glad that all survived the ordeal.
