Mitt Romney, 2016 front-runner
All it took was a Netflix documentary to film evidence that Mitt Romney was a human being just like the rest of us, and suddenly hes at the top of the polls!
At least he is in New Hampshire, according to a Purple Strategies poll. Its not a commanding lead over the rest of the GOP field, by any means, just a plurality he has 25 points to Rand Pauls 18, Chris Christies 17, and Jeb Bushs 13. But a leads a lead. Thanks, you guys! as someone might say. Bit late, though.

In a hypothetical 2016 presidential field, former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney would be the front-runner in the Granite State GOP primary field, with 25 percent of the vote. Behind Romney are Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, at 18 percent, then New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, at 17 percent, and former Florida governor Jeb Bush, at 13 percent.
Among Democrats, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton would own a commanding lead, with 68 percent of the vote. Distantly behind her is Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, with 13 percent, followed by Vice President Joe Biden, at 6 percent.

(144,919 posts)This morning, Morning Joe was pushing Jeb Bush. Joe explained that Jeb could ignore his mother's advise and run if the time is right. Since Christie is toast, this may happen.
According to some analysis that I have read, Jeb would also has a better chance if he ran against Hillary Clinton in that the nepotism issue would not be as important.
Jeb is still a very flawed candidate in that W is far more unpopular compared to Bill Clinton
