NY Daily News OpEd re: Christie Knew

http://www.nydailynews.com/opinion/put-christie-oath-article-1.1598515

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men will never put Chris Christie together again if New Jersey’s governor fails to refute the accusation that he knew of the George Washington Bridge lane closures as they were taking place.

In that event, Christie’s governorship is over and he should prepare to face a federal criminal probe as a private citizen. Resignation would be a must. Otherwise, impeachment would be a snap.

Christie taking Dems with him? Just because they supported him..... Did they shut down the lanes with him too? What about taking corrupt Republicans with him....

It's almost certain he'll take down his corrupt Repug cronies with him and that might lead to Repugs in other states as well. I was just thinking out loud that when a rat like Crispy is backed into a corner that he'll start pointing fingers to most everyone he can to spread out some of the blame. That is what led me to ask - will he bring down some corrupt Dems as well? I was not salivating over that fact nor relishing in the thought of him doing that - I was simply asking the question.

Where did I say that I wanted to see some Dems heads roll?

you asked if he was going to take down some "corrupt" Democrats....that is what the term "Dem heads roll" was directed at...You weren't dreaming of corrupt Republicans.....
...but "corrupt" Democrats...(of course...what else could that mean?)

Here is what you could have been dreaming about...

"Christy is a common lying, bully, criminal and belongs in jail. NJ needs to clean up their shameful politics and that includes Democrats too."

That's what caused me to post my Crispy Canary thought and ask if he'd bring down some corrupt Dems in the process too.

I'm a staunch Dem supporter - but I'm not in support of corrupt Dems that may have been complicit in Crispy's plans - are you?

What makes you want to even believe that Christie HAD corrupt Dems on the payroll to take down with him? Are you thinking that they didn't also receive the same "deals" Mayer Zimmer received? NOOO because you WANT to believe that Democrats were "in" on the whole thing....you weren't dreaming of taking down "corrupt Republicans" but Democrats.....No amount of parsing could make it read any other way...You know its a bit of a hobby around these parts "dreaming of the demise of Democrats".

reading into hidden meanings that don't exist. I'm sorry that you have misinterpreted my posts. Some people on DU are really too sensitive and interpret things for more than what they are. You win. I'm wrong. I apologize to you because you really know more of what I'm saying than I do. I have no more to say.

I remember when it came out that bush lied us into war and there were no consequences for bush, cheney or the rest of them. One of my RW neighbors admired them because "they knew how to get away with shit." I'm sure he's felt the same way about Christie.

Unbelievable.
