Does Obama deserve blame for the Iraq mess?

My right-wing family member seems to think so. Every time there is a negative story on the press about someone dying over there, he posts that it's Obama's fault and to impeach him over it.

So, is this what the Iraq legacy will be - blaming Obama?

2) Retained Bush's Secretary of Defense, and
3) Followed Bush's strategy through to its conclusion.

Is that it wasn't in chaos prior to our invasion. It was ruled by a brutal tyrant along with his nutjob sons and he did not treat his citizens well to say the least but there were no suicide bombings or chaos like there is now.
