****WCGreen Update -- Saturday February 1, 2014****

From his wife, Laurie:

Chris moved to another ICU (J 5 4) because there were so many transplants. Thank you so much to the people that want to donate their organs.

Chris is doing better. He is making jokes, which requires a lot of creativity when you can't talk! He has started physical therapy. We are kissing hello and goodbye. Thanks again for all the prayers, well wishes and good thoughts sent his way! It is all working!

I (CaliforniaPeggy) also want to add that his fever/infection vanished when a drainage bag was removed from his chest. So that's way better as well.

Thank you for asking! My little shoulder replacement is nowhere as complicated or life-threatening as Chris' lung transplant. However, I am doing well, getting a bit stronger and more limber all the time.

I'm looking forward to the day when all of this is well behind me!
