and saying that it's troubling. They are also pointing out that some Dems won't come out of this smelling like roses.

It's one thing if they were truly threatened/intimidated.
That could be a defense talking-point for some.

But if they joined in the corruption willingly, then
screw 'em!

Sign that Christie is scared and he should be very scared.

Christie is history.

and when the evidence comes out you'll be able to judge who is telling the truth and who isn't . I'm confident that you will see, that while we made mistakes, we acted appropriately and ethically and this matter will pass.

Oh, I was channeling the response of an innocent man. What was missing, David Wildstein had terrible acne in high school and couldn't get a date? He was once given a wedgie in the 2nd floor boys bathroom. This so smacks of desperation and who is truly the one who will say anything to save himself? But that's not surprising since projection is such a typical republican trait.

(per Christie's email)
http://images.politico.com/global/2014/02/01/christie1.html
going all the way back to their high school days, why did Christie create a position for him at the Port Authority and tout him (saw a video on youtube of Christie doing that a while back).
I tried to find the video quickly and could not.

Then I decided to try to search for the press announcement on the Governor's site:
http://search.state.nj.us/query.html?col=njstate&op0=&fl0=&ty0=p&tx0=+David+Wildstein&op1=%2B&fl1=&ty1=w&tx1=+&op2=-&fl2=&ty2=w&tx2=+&inthe=604800&dt=ba&ady=1&amo=1&ayr=2010&bdy=3&bmo=2&byr=2011&nh=100&rf=0&lk=1&charset=iso-8859-1&ht=0&qp=&qt=&qs=&qc=&pw=100%25&la=en&qm=0&st=1&rq=0&si=0&ql=a
to find out what Christie said about him when he created the position for Wildstein ... and there's nothing with David Wildstein's name ... anywhere (scrubbed?)

Anyway, looks like Christie is trying to bully and degrade Wildstein now which contradicts his actions in 2010 when he created a position for him.

Chris Christie Barely Knew David Wildstein? Their Old Coach Says Otherwise.
http://www.newrepublic.com/article/116177/chris-christie-did-know-david-wildstein-high-school-coach
(not a great nor damning article but they obviously were acquainted with each other in high school)

This was a decent 2012 write up on their relationship and Wildstein before the scandal
http://www.northjersey.com/news/ny_metro/030312_Ex-blogger_is_Governor_Christies_man_inside_the_Port_Authority.html?page=all

Actions speak louder than words. Christie created a position for this "fiercely loyal to Christie" man and hired him. Now, all of a sudden, he's no good? Doesn't add up.
