(11,138 posts)When I learn that a person is religious my estimation of them drops quite a bit. They tend to assume it is the fact of their beliefs that I have an issue with, but it isn't. It is rather the discovery that they engage in the sort of thinking that allows for religious belief. I would be just as disappointed in them if they believed that trees could talk or that chemtrails were a government plot.
