Trading Places.

After long knowing that the American dream is pretty much dead and hard work and dedication will only bring you a sense of personal accomplishment rather than a decent retirement, I have finally decided to try investing in the stock market. Just for fun, my wife put on Trading Places last night. We were both looking forward to the scene on the floor of the Exchange because she really wanted to study what Valentine and Winthorp did and if it made sense. Before we got to that point though, was the scene on the train with Al Franken as one of the baggage handlers. I asked my wife if she ever thought that guy would be a senator. We had a nice chuckle.

the people he interviewed on his radio show and had really good questions for them. I liked that so much better than the call in liberal talk shows. Franken was a Harvard grad who didn't get in because of his family like other politicians.

Actually, the guy who played Gopher on The Love Boat also went to Harvard. He became a right wing congressman.

But, they are very dated and it's kinda depressing to listen to some of the bush policies they were complaining about are still going on now.
