Man pulls gun on girl selling Girl Scout Cookies..

February 3, 2014, 7:10 a.m.

A Temecula man who allegedly pointed a gun at a girl who knocked on his door to sell cookies on Sunday has been arrested, authorities said.

The girl, described only as a minor, was going door-to-door selling in the area around the 31000 block of Strawberry Tree Lane when she and her father approached John Dodrill's house.

After the girl knocked on his door, Dodrill, 59, allegedly answered with a gun pointed at her, according to Riverside County sheriff's officials.

Her father, who witnessed the alleged incident, called police and Dodrill was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. Authorities said they confiscated a weapon as evidence.

in the freezer and then open a box saying "I'll just have a few" and then proceed to eat the whole freaking box. After which I'd get the other box and give it the first person I saw.

Did that for years until it dawned on me I should just stop buying the darned things.

My mother is a sugar fiend, and if she comes over, they mysteriously disappear. This isn't a one-time event - she's done it every single time she gets a whiff that I might have ordered some girl scout cookies. We won't even discuss the Halloween candy.

4. Temecula is a strange, strange desert community.

It is, indeed. It's represented in Congress by Duncan Hunter, one of the most regressive Republicans I know. That the 50th district elected that man should give you some idea of Temecula's nature.

The moron in the house was a nutcase, either way.

The California desert along I-15 attracts nutcases like no other place I know. I've had to do business in Temecula a couple of times. Some of the people I've encountered there convinced me to find other sources for the stuff I was buying.

Odds are that the moron in the house has heard about the Girl Scouts and their "lesbian ways" from his right wing asshole associations. In his moronic logic, not pointing a gun at that girl with her cookies is tantamount to supporting evil. His mind just isn't right. Anyone who points a gun at a kid selling cookies needs to be isolated somewhere.

And, in fact, that's why he lives there. Self-isolation is one of the main reasons for moving into those desert communities.
