Again!

But, liberals/progressives only make up about 20-30% of the population we're told over and over again.

Many more Americans identify as conservative we're told.

Point: If a majority of Americans like the progressive option/direction on policy for so many issues, then they are progressive. They are just too ignorant/brainwashed to know it. Of course, very few in the media OR the Democratic Party ever make this very important distinction. It's a salient point that just might break the brainwashing so it's rarely, if ever, made to the masses.
