Five years into Obama's presidency 44 percent of Americans still blame former President George W. Bush and the Republican Party for the country's economic woes, while 34 percent blame President Obama and Democrats, according to a CNN/ORC International poll released Thursday.
While more Americans fault Bush for the state of the economy, blame on the former president and Republicans has dipped since 2012, when 57 percent held Bush responsible compared to 35 percent who viewed Obama more culpable.
In the Thursday poll only one percent of Americans rated the country's economic conditions as very good, and about two thirds of those surveyed rated the economy as somewhat or very poor.
ORC surveyed 1,010 Americans adults by phone for CNN Jan. 31-Feb. 2 with a margin of error plus or minus 3 percentage points.

NO HOLDS BARRED, except we must also tell the truth to a fault. Make those lying bastards justify every theft, lie, distortion, half-truth and obfuscation. Especially when they lie about their voting records and what they've done to the unemployed.
Every single one of Earl G's posters needs to become part of the next election cycles. Even though I have no income, I'll save a few dollars to make that happen whether the DCCC wants it or not.
