OMG, I just can't stand S.E. Cupp.

She on "Real Time" right now. She's just a slightly smarter Palin but just as difficult to listen to. She's also the one that shot a little black bear and put the photo of the poor, bloody thing on her Christmas cards a few years ago.

1. There's a real easy solution

Turn off your TV. In fact, do yourself a favor and shoot your TV. TVs exist to turn you into a consumer. That's how they make their money. Also, it turns out that if they can make you mad, you'll be more hooked and more likely to continue watching and feeding off of the anger, all while they feed off of you.

Just turn off the commercial bullshit and mabey watch some old movies or TV shows. How about giving it to someone who can't afford to buy one that could entertain their kids watching old movies?
You can watch TV without becoming a consumer of commercial BS and it can be a useful tool who don't have the money to provide that access point, and it is much better than planting in it some land fill somewhere.
Since I'm of Scot-Irish heritage, I don't throw anything away. I've got stuff in the basement and garage that my grandfather couldn't throw away!
I'm sure I'll find a use for it some day.

Companies know all about skipping commercials. Now, the programs themselves are ads. Last time I listened to the news (streaming), there were several "stories" about companies and what they were making. Basically, ads.

PJ O'Rourke's execrable presence affirmed my refusal to watch...and Sippy Cupp was additional assurance.

...and any talk host who is honest and diligent should know that if a Republicon is a guest,
they are likely to spew it -- it's the deliberate Republicon Lie du jour.

Maher FAILed.

subscription fees by name. Barf. Hacks, burned out and newly bloomed but hacks the both of them. And PJ, another of those 'always drunk 'cause I think it is cute' types.
And Bill, who will whine and jab at a person for eating a turkey sandwich supports the blood sport loving and promoting Cupp? Unreal.

Tom Colicchio did an excellent job with her - he kept saying "That's just silly" and dismissing her talking points rather than engage with her. It seemed to shut her up.
