Never without a nasty word for anyone either he or his boss King Christie disagrees with, Mike Drewniak has gone silent. Not that anyone misses his knee-jerk tirades full of venom and half-truth. This is a guy with a retort if someone in NJ burped and he interpreted it as anti-Christie. He's up to his neck-or is it up to his big mouth- in the GWB scandal. What goes 'round comes 'round (or as Malaise put it-same knife stick goat stick sheep )
Sometimes charming, often pugnacious, press secretary Michael Drewniak has provided daily sound bites about Christies positions and agenda. Hes worked to polish the governors image and smack down criticism, whether from newspaper editorial writers or elected officials.
But in the month since Drewniaks name publicly surfaced in documents related to the George Washington Bridge scandal including his reference to the executive director of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a "piece of excrement" the voice of the administration has fallen largely silent.

(2,419 posts)that he isn't here on DU posting expletive filled defenses of his boss. These threads show up on Google searches, something like Christie Crime Digest has to have caught his attention. I'm sure he's got to duct tape his hands to his sides to keep from posting on here!

(2,419 posts)for Christie. He's is a member of his inner circle and an architect of his public persona. He really should be an old time professional wrestling manager. Coaching someone to be such an evil figure for entertainment purposes is one thing. Helping somebody behave this way as a leader in public service takes a dark and twisted soul. (if he has one)
