****WCGreen Update --Sunday February 9, 2014****

A Christopher Green update from his wife, Laurie:

Chris has improved on many levels. He would be moved to step-down, but the beds are limited and filled. The doctor told us that they can just do the same things in the ICU that they do in step-down, so he won't lose any time. He sat in a chair today for two hours. When we went today, he was tired, but visited with everyone. Nothing can keep his humor down. His facial expressions are priceless. Again, thank you all so much!

And frankly, he's lucky to be kept in the ICU: tons of attention. Once they move you to a regular room, it's hard to find a nurse at all!

Though I bet he's ready to bust out of there.

The step-down unit will still have better staffing than the regular rooms, so that will be good.

I'm sure he's ready to be out of there! Now that he's really on the road to recovery, his energy will return...

Excellent news!! Please tell Laurie and Chris that in a year they will be in a much different place and sooooo happy despite this painful initial struggle.

Stay strong Chris!

Every week a little better! I do hope they get him to the other room soon and get him out of ICU. That place is scary enough, already. Thanks, as ever, to you CP for the report each week.
