Before I get slammed, it's important he's being upfront and honest because sexual orientation is an issue that's pounded over and over by bigots who switch between wanting to persecute/kill/ruin gay people and claiming they can "save" them by praying it away. Both positions are absurd and serving a political agenda to use hate against gays to stir up divisions between the people.
Gay people live in this nation. They pay taxes. They live loving lives and contribute to society. That should be enough.

(2,670 posts)He has alot of courage but it makes me happy as a former defensive end myself that a defensive end has the potential to be the first open NFL player
