'Cybertip' from Google leads to child porn arrest

A 'Cybertip' from Google led to the arrest of a Boynton Beach man on child porn charges, police said.

Google alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children on Feb. 5 that someone had uploaded two images of child porn, according to the arrest report. Once the IP address was nailed down, the tip was passed to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office and Boynton Beach police.

On Monday, authorities from the South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant at the home of Seth Marks, 47, in the 300 block of Northeast 26th Avenue. According to the report, deputies found more than 50 images of child porn on Marks' computer.

They also found cocaine and drug paraphernalia, the report said. Marks was booked on child porn and drug charges, according to the report.
