If I stop posting,

it's because Winter Storm Pax turned out the power in SC.

If I'm up and have power, I will post. I usually fall asleep in the early evening and wake up in early morning.
Every time I see a weather notice, it gets worse. It still could change for the better I'm not counting on it.

The Iceman cometh. Ice. Not snow.
"We who are about to die(or lose power forever) salute you."

of the powerlines.

Folks 30 miles north of use lost power for up to 10 days over the Christmas holiday due to a 1/2-3/4" of inch.

Do take care...

Get a gas thingy for cooking something or hot water and a lantern.

Hopefully it'll hold you till the power comes on.

Nice thing about no respite from the temperatures is that the utility companies are on steroids, all overtime, and they'll come faster than you think...

I hope we don't lose you and the cats & bunny

This looks really bad for your part of the country. I know it would cripple us here in Kentucky, we were nearly crippled by about 4-5 inches a week ago, and SC is probably even less prepared.

I was in the thick of it last week in PA. 3 days with no power. It wasn't fun but I made it through.

And now we have another one coming to slam us Thursday.

*sigh* can't wait for Spring.

We've had 6 feet of snow and ice (freezing rain) this year. And nearly 30 days of below zero. It's getting tiresome, and I'm a snow lover! Stay warm and safe.
