Atlanta freaks out before winter storm



If you’re an Atlantan making a last-minute grocery run, here’s hoping you love corn and asparagus. Because that’s all that may be left on most shelves as residents stock up and hunker down for the ice storm.

Gone are the loaves of bread. The gallons of milk. The cans of beans and beer.

After snow so recently paralyzed Atlanta and embarrassed the state, residents and government officials said they aren’t taking any chances.

hopefully.

I have been so fortunate in my career, always had a position that was hard to fill, so had no qualms about
taking off a bad weather day if needed.

2. i think most of ATL dodges the worst of it...

however, south of the city it could be bad in epic proportions with ice knocking out power to potentially 100's of thousands of people. and once it's out... it could be out upwards of a week.
