It just started snowing here (Alleghany Highlands of Va) about 30 minutes ago and everything is already covered. We're expecting 8-10 inches tonight and another 3-5 tomorrow. Just hoping the power doesn't go out, as it will be a very cold night if it does.

37. I'm not in the line of this storm, thankfully

but when I lived in the south, one time I went to a movie, a storm started, because it's the south it's more often ice than snow, the interstate had semis jackknifed all around, so we took surface roads as soon as we could... and it took us 5 hours to drive what normally took 45 minutes in traffic.

I still here, but since February I lost both of my 17 year old sweet baby sister cats. I have gotten a pair of shelter kittens and they help. It is still not easy.
