Come On People - Stop Giving Kudos To Boehner For Bringing A Clean Debt Ceiling Vote.....
He didn't do it because he really wanted to - this was a political decision on his part.
Remember it is an election year. The Repugs couldn't have weathered another government shutdown and shoulder the blame. It's too close to the election - only 9 months away.
They need to keep their nose clean now. They can risk screwing up or taking any heat on any big issues.
If the President and the Dems were smart now - they would push through as many of the things that they want to now - because Repugs will have to think twice about opposing any of these issues - because they will have to consider how it will play in November.
After the November election - I'm sure that the Repugs will be back to their old tricks - unless we're able to take back the House.
