44% of households in America are liquid asset poor!

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2014-02-01/nearly-half-america-lives-paycheck-paycheck

Graphic tells is all! Said another way, a prominent law firm here, for example, has started advertising legal services for those derailed by jobs, benefits, etc., etc. stating something like, half of Americans can't survive more than two weeks without a paycheck. This IMO is a country wherein "Sixteen Tons" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sixteen_Tons
"I owe my soul to the company store" has been taken to the extreme. I often wonder how many Americans really realize how disadvantaged they are, and will be in the future as this continues.

I don't believe that people are careless and spending irresponsibly. Wages are too low to keep up with the cost of living, while corporations make record profits. And there is a political party with the philosophy that this is the way it should be and somehow manages to get these people with no money in the bank to vote for them. I don't get it.

think alike in some areas IMO. There are exceptions, but I think the norm is to horde wealth. I know people that have wealth and are very democratic in their ideals, but vote republican because they say they will save their wealth. Then because of this they get F'ed over in other ways. People are WEIRD!

category, but they can't seem to comprehend what is going on they have been brainwashed so much. The American work ethic is among one of the most bizarre things we have going on, people convinced their lot in life is totally their fault, that they just have to work harder and harder in a system designed to financially suppress them and they fall for it hook line and sinker!
