Reducing the Deficit is NOT a laudable achievement while the Working Class is STILL in a major depression with High Unemployment IF you still believe in the "OLD" Democratic Party Values of FDR/LBJ,
ESPECIALLY if cutting Social Programs and Unemployment Benefits is factored into "reducing the deficit".

In all sincerity,
I can NOT join the parade praising Reducing the Deficit at this particular time.
Old Style Democratic Party programs (Government SPENDING) that put MONEY directly into the hands of those who NEED it, and will immediately SPEND it is what we should be doing. (Government funded Jobs Programs & Safety Net Spending)
I WILL Join a Victory Parade for that!
