Just found out one of the most interesting people I've ever met passed away on January 18th.

Kathryn "Fuffy" Abbe. She, along with her identical twin sister, were the first women ever under contract as photographers for Vogue.

What a huge loss. I'm in tears, and my day is suddenly much less bright than it had been before I got the news. Having her as a houseguest made for a weekend I shall remember all of my days.

RIP Fuffy, Thank You for the impression you made, and Thank You for leaving behind such wonderful photographs. They will inspire photographers for generations.

She sounds like she was utterly fascinating. How lucky that you got to meet her and spend time with her. I will have to look for her work and the movie you discussed in your previous post about her. Thanks for sharing your experiences with her here.
