WIll Never See Rise In Min. Wage Or Ext. Of Unemployment As Long As Even One GOPPER Apposes It.

More likely than not with the GOP you will see the end of both minimum wage and unemployment insurance. And that fact is cast in stone.

Unless Dems canwin the House no action is likely until 2017.

And even then, who knows?

The gerrymandering is so bad it's near impossible to get these sons of bitches out of there. I fear that it's over and frankly has been for a long, long time. 2009 was the last, best chance and no one would act.

The gerrymandering that the republicans undertook after 2010 moved from the traditional safe district strategy to maximizing the total number of republican districts, but in doing so they have reduced the 'safety' of many of those districts. A shift in voter demographics or attitudes could bring a massive change.
