Bas Relief of Walker Hancock (one of the Monument Men)

Email from my friend Mike.

Thanks, I will have to go see it. Captain Walker Hancock's apprentice Daniel went to the movie and although Walker Hancock is not portrayed in the film, Daniel felt his presence was felt in a number of the characters. I visited Walker up in Cape Ann back in 1992. I was a young sculptor with questions, and Walker was in his nineties at the time and he gave me a few hours of his time. Then asked me to send him pics of my sculptures and in turn critiqued them, showing me how I could better my effort but always encouraging me.
