Authorities said Quadlin remained at the store for a little while following the shooting and then fled. Police found him after a family member called authorities to report his whereabouts.
So he shoots a guy, and then decides to go about his business at the store?
Then you have Michael Dunn, who shoots a guy, and then goes back to his hotel, have a few drinks, order a pizza, and then drive two hours home the next day before even thinking of calling 911?
I think the only reason Zimmerman stuck around (unlike the other two) was because as a wannabe cop, he thought he had killed himself a thug and that the police would simply give him a pat on the back for a job well done. Which, for all intents and purposes, was the initial reaction by the police. And now he says he's not bothered by the fact that he shot someone to death.
What is it about these guys that makes shooting someone seem like such a routine thing?

(7,784 posts)already called the cops from his car and identified himself. No point in fleeing, his only hope was to stay there and compose his story.

You've had veterans who have had to shoot an enemy solider in the heat of battle, and many of them will tell you flat out that it haunts them every day for the rest of their lives. But this guy, nothing. He'll gladly volunteer to participate in a "celebrity" boxing match if he had his way.

(579 posts)even after 40+ years, I still have bad nightmares of my service in Vietnam. Any one who claims that killing another human being, whether justified or not, has no soul and are a danger to society.
