Scott Brown most likely not running for NH Senate

Scottie once again is bailing out on another run for office, prefers FOX contract instead.

He has not said he would not run, but it is difficult for him to run and be a contributor on TV. This makes Shaheen reelection more likely.

Former senator Scott Brown, R-Mass., has renewed his contract with Fox News — a move that suggests he is leaning against a New Hampshire bid despite a very public flirtation with the prospect of challenging Democratic incumbent Sen. Jeanne Shaheen.

In a statement obtained by The Washington Post, Fox News’ Bill Shine confirmed that Brown had reupped with the network. The statement:

Sen. Brown has renewed his contributor agreement with Fox News. The previous yearlong agreement expired on Feb. 11 and was never terminated — this was purely administrative. We look forward to his continuing political analysis and insight across the network.

Brown could not be a television contributor and actively running for a U.S. Senate seat, and his decision to re-up with Fox — where he signed on as a contributor in 2013 after losing to Elizabeth Warren in his 2012 re-election campaign — puts him further away from launching a campaign.

Even in 2010, he ran to rise his profile, but did not expect to win.

Since then, he has started rumors for two additional runs in MA (governor and senator against Markey) and both times, he has not done it. It is likely that he was trying to rise his profile and stay relevant so that he can negotiate this,

Same here.
