Judge strikes down Nebraska law that allowed KeystoneXL pipeline to proceed through the state.

#BREAKING: Judge strikes down Nebraska law that allowed #KeystoneXL pipeline to proceed through the state.

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — A judge has struck down a Nebraska law that allowed the Keystone XL oil pipeline to proceed through the state.

Lancaster County Judge Stephanie Stacy issued a ruling Wednesday that invalidated Nebraska Gov. Dave Heineman's approval of the route. Stacy says the decision should have been made by the Nebraska Public Service Commission, which regulates pipelines and other utilities.

The ruling could cause more delays in finishing the pipeline, which would carry oil from Canada to Texas refineries.

I know with eminent domain they will keep after them in the courts. Even those 3 landowners will have to accept.

Even if they move a little to bypass those 3 land owners, the pipeline will still be on the Nebraska Sandhills.

All the public protest against shale oil transport in the USA, refine in Texas, & ship off as export has never slowed that Corp down at all.

All Americans will get out of this deal is filthy air and land disasters from 'accidents.' And more loss of our Federal funds, 'regulating' their Corp.

But I have to wonder how much of a rubber stamp agency the Nebraska Public Service Commission is.

People who can be gotten to somehow, overruled by a higher authority or replaced. They wouldn't have put as much work into the pipeline as they already have if they didn't know how this would end.

They will just bring up the file, cut and paste Nebraska Public Service Commission into the right place and do it again.
This issue is no longer open. It has been decided by big business, congress, the state department, and the president.
Like it or not they are removing the fuel and are just standing by while the different fires burn down and go out now.

This Judge is a remarkable example of courage by expressing the "rule of law" over greedy domination by those who offshore their profits and investments.

I'm very disappointed that my Canadian English and French speaking friends are not outraged by the fracking of their pristine western wilderness.
