State Investigator loses job over lynching story

This is pretty shocking. An African American man filed a complaint because the EMT who answered his 911 call refused to perform CPR on his mother, who subsequently died. The investigator who was supposed to look into the matter attempted to intimidate the complainant, asking if he had been to prison and relating a grotesque story about a past local lynching. The investigator was fired, and now styles himself the "victim" in the scenario.
