Friend -- Using a model inspired by Nate Silver, Real Clear Politics projects that we’re “underdogs to hold the Senate” after the Kochs’ endless spending on outrageous attack ads. Their model forecasts a “very, very challenging map for Democrats,” and claims Republicans could win the Senate by just one seat.
What their model doesn’t take into account is our response plan: an extensive grassroots campaign resembling President Obama’s campaign operation, funded by supporters like you. We don’t need to match the Kochs' lies dollar-for-dollar on the air — our Grassroots Victory Project will invest $60 million into Democratic voter turnout efforts and put over 4,000 paid field staff into ten battleground states.
If we can fully fund Phase One before the deadline TOMORROW, we’ll be able to place senior leadership in TEN deadlocked Senate battlegrounds by the month’s end. But if we fall short, we’ll have to scale back, giving the Kochs an opening to buy the Senate for the Republicans. Will you step up today?
