If the 'pugs keep ranting about Benghazi, we need to remind the voters...

...that, if McCain or any other 'pug had been president at the time, the U.S. would have been fighting against the Libyan people to KEEP KHADAFFI IN POWER!

That's the logical outcome of the 'pug "policy ideas" at the time. They saw Khadaffi as a "reformed" tyrant that we could work with...as they had seen Saddam in the Nineties(and look how well THAT worked out.)

We would also have ended up sending in the Marines to save Mubarak...but that's for another discussion.

Those guys would had us, not only in continuing and unrelenting wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but ALSO in conflicts on the Mediterranean coast in defense of leaders who were just as violently hated in their countries as the Shah had been in Iran in 1979. We would have ended up losing huge numbers of troops, and inflicting massive civilian casualties, if Republican Middle East ideas had been in force at the time of the "Arab Spring".

We can hang that around their smug white necks like undersized power ties.
