Maher doesn't want to flip Issa's district because Issa will come one his show.

Instead of hitting him with many of those bogus claims Issa makes, Maher remains mostly silent.

On edit: I recorded but haven't watched the most recent show with Issa on. I should check it out!

Maher is no different than any other political/media parasite now.

He's playing favorites with his panel members, shielding those who do him the favor of showing up.
