"What did you do to get out of the war, Daddy?"

"Well, before I had to go down to the draft board for an examination, I ate nothing but junk fund. I took every pill and drug I could find and smoked anything that would burn.

I never combed my hair and I refused to take a bath. I shit on myself and stunk to high heaven when I walked through their doors. People held their noses and turned their heads when I walked by.

But, I was a chicken shit. I was not going to go to Vietnam and let them shoot my ass off. I wanted to play my guitar and make love to all the young girls that followed around the rock and roll stars.

Now, I love my guns and I love to talk about how patriotic I am. Politicians invite me to their parties and fundraisers. I am the type of American they love to associate with..."

Yours truly,

Ted Nugent
