Why is Tom Petri being ignored?

My congressman, Tea Party panderer Tom Petri, has a scandal dogging him right now.
He bought hundreds of thousands of $$$ in stock, in a defense contractor he advocates and lobbies for.

He has asked for an "investigation."

Meanwhile he refuses to address any of the legitimate questions about this.

1. Maybe because he's a boring old guy from Central Wisconsin

and there's that boring younger guy in the Governor's mansion in Madison making bigger headlines?

Walker, Walker's cronies, Petri, Glenn Grothmann, on and on.

But the company offered Petri the stock (probably at a discount,) out of the "goodness of their hearts."
