Mexico can't seem to catch a break. Now it will have to deal with another drug cartel collapse and

the violence that follows. Texas will also be affected.

One of the world's most wanted drug barons, Joaquin "Shorty" Guzman, is arrested in a joint US-Mexican operation in Mexico's Sinaloa state.

I believe the guards here would be less likely to help him escape the way the Mexican prison guards got him out 8 years ago.

and not any worse off than any other multi-billion dollar corporation would be if it lost it's CEO.

I doubt anything will spill over to Texas. While in Texas there have been random killings of punks and thugs associated with the cartels, the real bloodshed, IF ANY, will be in Mexico. But it's hard to say what's going on right now. I would have expected things happening by now.

I would assume others have taken control of his org, but I don't know a whole lot about the cartels beyond their horrid history of violence toward citizens, not just their business competition.

Not like he was unique and the only one that could do the job.
