The ultimate T&A thread to end all other T&A threads

Sorry to disappoint those of you who were expecting another flame-fest, but in 8 months the midterm elections will take place and we could be looking at a complete teabagger takeover.

If you actually care about women's issues, then it's time to stop the gender wars and focus on getting out the vote.

...not a partisan political issue, notwithstanding the coincidental circumstance that democrats and republicans tend to take different trajectories on gender issues in at least some cases. But one can support and work for gender equality independent of partisan politics, I think.

this ends the T&A nonsense, but I'm not counting on it. Just in case I'm (happily) wrong, though, here is my first & last contribution to a T&A thread:

Comments like this say something about the person who thinks about it, writes it, and posts it.

"If you actually care about women's issues, then it's time to stop the gender wars and focus on getting out the vote."

So much work to do on this issue. So many of those who are suppose to be our allies don't even want to educate themselves on the problem. That sentence is proof of how far we have to go.
