This video's making the social network rounds lately. I thought it died a couple of years ago but

the "In God We Trust" zombie is at it again. Diamond Rio, a grade B country band put this tune out claiming the radio stations would not play it because it was too "politically incorrect". Obviously a gimmick to get right wing notoriety and publicity. Number one: Who really cares about radio anymore. It's released on the web and downloadable so that argument is full of it. Number two: The video ends with the Sinclair Lewis saying, "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross." Whoever said it, it's talking about mixing religion, with government and corporations resulting in theocratic corporate fascism. That is just the opposite of what the song is about. Hypocrisy and stupidity obviously go hand in hand when it comes to right wing propaganda.

There are instances all over the Right where hypocrisy goes with psychopathic leadership, and stupidity is the prime trait of the suckers followers.

3. I'm daily amazed at the ignorance that is rampant in the American populace.

If the country is really doomed, as some of these people think, it will be doom as soon as the right wingers take over and crash it into the reality of climate change and corporate control.
