Nugent says Obama administration is like Nazis

Conservative rocker Ted Nugent, who on Friday apologized for calling President Obama a "subhuman mongrel" and promised to adjust his tone, on Monday compared the Obama administration to Nazi Germany.

During an interview on Dennis Miller's radio show, Miller took issue with Nugent describing the administration as "jackbooted thugs."

"I don't think he's Adolf Hitler," Nugent said, according to a recording obtained by liberal media watchdog Media Matters.

When Miller pressed him further, Nugent held his ground.

26. I wonder what changed people like Ted and Charlie Daniels both of whom

wrote at least one very enlightened song much earlier in their careers.

Daniels wrote 'Uneasy Rider' and Nugent wrote 'Great White Buffalo.'

Great White Buffalo is a song critical of whites (in the live version he substitutes 'white dogs' for 'white men') slaughtering the buffalo while the Indians only took what they needed and lived in harmony with the buffalo.

Ted's views are about as radical RW as one will find in America. I do wonder how the man that wrote that song is the same Ted Nugent we see on TV.

My opinion on his guitar playing is that he actually is the best in the state of Michigan FWIW.
