What happens when you put 2 pit bulls in a photo booth?

(Bumper,R and Willis,L)
<snip>
Bumper is a pit bull who "came from a not-so-great area of St. Louis," says Garrison. A "gentleman tried to fight her. She wouldn't engage." A little boy "lured her away" and got the dog to Mutts n Stuff, a local pit bull rescue.

Garrison and her husband Jason had had Bumper about 1.5 years, she says, when they felt ready to take in a foster dog. They were matched with another pit bull, then six months old, who had been part of of a 500-dog fighting ring that was raided in the summer of 2009.

"The largest pit bull fighting bust in U.S. history," says Garrison. Willis' mother was pregnant at the time of the bust; Willis himself was, Garrison says, "born about two weeks after the rescue."

It didn't take long for the block-headed pup to become a permanent member of the family. All the Garrisons had fallen in love with him. That includes Bumper.

dogs adopted two years apart at one year each. The older big boy border collie basically taught the little girl Aussie how to be a dog. In spite of her attacking him he never responded, and they quickly became inseparable. She did not even know what toys were when we first got her (she thought it was another thing to hit her with I think). She loves her toys now. She readily takes them out of the tool box. My daughter is hoping our older boy will still be around to train another dog that she plans to get when she gets out of college.

I am so glad you and your border collie were there for that precious aussie girl. There are such evil people in the world toward sweet pets, thankfully there are good people like you there to pick up the pieces some of the time.

I love herding breeds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My FB is pretty much oriented on dogs at this point, and I smile every time I see this one. So many things I see online have to do with cruelty to innocent pets. I'm grateful for all the cute I can get!!!!

I love how it always seems as if one dog is trying so hard to be serious while the other goofs off in shots of more than one dog.
