An Obama miracle?

Months and months of drought. Winter, our wet season, and no rain.

Obama visits on Feb. 14, says:

What happens here matters to every working American," . . . "right down to the food that you put on your table."

and

"One thing is undeniable," he said. "Rising temperatures influence drought."

His Secretary of Agriculture says:

"We are here to help to the extent that we can," . . . .

and two weeks later -- Voila. We have rain.

Granted there was a delay. But St. Obama or maybe raindancer Obama and Vilsack sure kept their word.

It rained last night. Hurrah! Hurrah! Hurrah!

I haven't measured how much I got in my garden yet -- until just minutes ago it was raining too hard to bother.

Credit where credit is due.

Thank you, Mr. President.
