Obama: 'There Will Be Costs' For Military Intervention In Ukraine

President Barack Obama warned Russia that there would be consequences of Russian intervention in Ukrainian Crimea.

"There will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine," Obama said at a press conference Friday afternoon as news continue to develop the events.

Obama's comments at the quickly organized press conference came after news broke that Russia had invaded parts of Ukraine. Obama said information was very fluid and that the United States was monitoring the situation along with America's European allies.

He said that the United States was "now deeply concerned by reports of military movements taken by the Russian federation inside the Ukraine."

"Any violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity would be deeply destabilizing," Obama said.

sending his little contingent of super soldiers back to Russia, and offering to buy every Ukrainian cabinet member a new car complete with "Welcome to the EU" bumper stickers.

Russia as the EU needs their energy. Military intervention? Yeah right! lol!

Strongly worded diplomatic cables is what I see happening.
