Politico:Former Montana governor Brian Schweitzer, who recently said he didn't aspire to be on MSNBC, has joined the liberal cable news channel as a contributor, an MSNBC spokesperson has confirmed.
Schweitzer appeared on MSNBC's "The Ed Show" on Wednesday in what the host called his first appearance as an MSNBC contributor." The former governor has appeared as a guest host on CNN's "Crossfire" multiple times in recent months.

Too bad the presidency can't be run online.

(111,237 posts)and he's a progressive and a soil engineer who only reluctantly got into politics because of what he saw being done to Montana.
I think he had a lot of fun with it, vetoing the real crap the Republicans sent him with a branding iron. I was hoping he'd run because intelligent, progressive characters are hard to find in politics.
I also think he felt the gig at MSNBC could be done part time, that he wouldn't have to put in all that much time on the east coast and nobody would expect him to live there.
